Youth research projects:
Be Enterprising, Be Successful
The programme is funded by the BLF
Young Enterprise is currently finalising the analysis of a three years pilot programme consisting of multiple enterprise education interventions with young people aged 16-18 years old. The programme takes place in areas with higher than average NEET destination figures as per the 2012-13 KS4 and KS5 ONS destinations data. This programme is now in its final year.
The project aims to test the hypothesis that employability skills and career aspirations can be built up, regardless of whatever challenging start a young person might find him or herself experiencing.
The programme is composed of four cumulative interventions that build young people’s capacity to benefit from engaging in long term and sustained entrepreneurial learning-by-doing activities. The four programmes are Entrepreneurship Masterclass, Tenner Challenge, Summer Activity Challenge and Company Programme.
