New Director of Research, Design and Insight

2019-07-03

We are very pleased to announce that our new Director of Research, Design and Insight, Kelly Bradshaw-Walsh, joined the Centre last week. Kelly will lead the Centre’s research activity, focusing on new ways of understanding impact and quality in youth work and provision for young people.

Kelly has worked in a variety of research roles over the past 20 years, most recently as Head of Research and Impact at BookTrust, the UK’s largest children’s reading charity.  Prior to this, Kelly lead research projects with grassroots community groups at the Community Development Foundation. She also worked at performance development consultancy Lane4, conducting research to understand individual, team and organisational performance within public and private sector organisations.

Kelly is very much looking forward to sharing her wide research experience, working to test and build evaluation and impact measurement in the youth sector that emphasises high quality data, embedded approaches, the generation of actionable insights, and shared learning.

The Centre now has a full team, and we’re really excited to press on! You can read about all the new team members and their roles here
